The Centre for Hospitality at Wintec, in association with the Cater Plus Services NZ Ltd, is proud to host the annual Waikato Culinary Fare for 2012.

This is an opportunity for both secondary school students and junior hospitality people in the kitchen and restaurant areas, with a passion for hospitality, to display their skills, innovation and creativity.

The Waikato Culinary Fare is designed to create a friendly local competition as well as being a stepping stone to the New Zealand National Culinary Fare held in Auckland each year.

This is the third EIGHT year Wintec has had an association with this competition and every year we see the standard of achievement increase. It is an opportunity for our state-of-the-art facilities to be put to fantastic use by offering secondary school students, tertiary students and industry professionals a taste of culinary competitions.
